Description
Holograph letter from Bishop M. Fogarty, Ennis (County Clare), to (Hagan), enclosing dimissorial letters for Mr. Flannery. Congratulations on the College's academic successes at Propaganda. Some comments on the certain improvement the new College building will mean; the present ones are depressing and conducive to illnesses like the recent fever; wondering however if the new rooms at 15 feet will be too high. Plans for coming to Rome for the Holy Year indulgence. Refraining from commenting on Ireland – 'we are still lurching and warping in our Irish Sea... we are what we always have been (and) always will be- lightweights'.
