Description
Holograph letter from Bishop J. Downey, Bishop's House, Kilkenny, to Hagan. In need of canonical advice on a bishop's power to delegate the faculty to establish the Stations of the Cross; discussing the points. -Now attached handwritten draft by (Hagan) to the Pope, petitioning in this case.- Dr. Brownrigg will return from 'recruiting' in Wexford; he will impart the papal blessing on St. Kieran’s Day, 5 March. With good wishes to the Archbishop of Tuam. [late February 1925]
