Description
Holograph letter from Bishop J. MacRory, Trench House, Belfast (County Antrim), to Hagan, enclosing cheque for Peter's Pence, commenting the sum is not large due to the harvest and unemployment. Fr. O'Nolan's books ought to prove his worth for a doctorate degree. Then recommending as strongly Frs. McCaughan and Fr. Mageean; the former is president of the diocesan college 'which is seated here among heretics'.
