Holograph letter from James MacCaffrey, St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth (County Kildare), to Bishop J. MacRory (Belfast), with a holograph note from the latter to Hagan, asking him to obtain the dispensation in question. MacCaffrey originally encloses petition regarding Mr. Scullin's age for ordination. (Obverse contains handwritten draft petition from [Hagan] for [Congregation]; seeking 'sanatio in radice' for the renting out of the parochial house of St. Finbar's [...].)
