Description
Holograph letter from P.J. Merriman, Hôtel Quirinal, Rome, to (Hagan), asking about the tickets for the papal audience. They have dealt with most their social calls; today they '"prayed up"' the Scala Santa: 'Rome is wonderfully stimulating for a Catholic'. Asking to have Fr. Bastible's company again; regretting Hagan's health does not permit him to join them himself.
