Description
Holograph letter from P.J. Walsh, Holy Cross College, Clonliffe, Dublin, to Hagan. Enclosing the only photograph of the Archbishop [of Dublin] that seemed suitable (not extant); doubting he would sit for Bravi. Also enclosing holograph letter from (Abbot) O'Phelan, Mount Melleray, County Waterford; the student previously discussed, Mr. Healy, is not interested in the Sydney mission. - Then recommending warmly Mr. David O'Meara, to be ordained next year, whom his bishop, Dr. Sheil of Rockhampton, would like to send to the Irish College for a year. Walsh will hear news when their travelers return – 'your Uncle' for instance will certainly call on him.
