Description
Holograph letter from M.[J.Curran], Tivoli, to Hagan, enclosing two letters (not attached anymore). Brief news on student's exams; arrangements for admitting Fr. O'Meara, Clonliffe, for a year. At the new site, the iron stays for the cement foundation are being laid down. Domestic news of Tivoli; the caretaker is in a very subdued mood. Burglars took 900,000-lire worth of altar plate from St. Peter’s, including Cardinal Merry del Val's present to the Pope. Some small matters.
