Description
Holograph letter from Cecil Smyth Howard [Ernie O'Malley], Florence, to (Hagan), in gratitude for his letter and for exercising himself in his business. Relating that Bob Barton's aunt, a Miss Priestly, 'rescued' him from his hotel. Glad he was not in Rome since there are some people who need not know he is there. Expecting that things will deteriorate a little in the near future 'as the "spring" has gone out of life for many people there'.
