Description
Typescript letter signed J. Hagan, Rome, to Monsignor Pecorari (Propaganda Fide), and holograph reply. Stating that followers of Margaret Aylward, foundress of the congregation of the Holy Faith in 1857, are considering initiating her cause to the Congregation of Rites. Asking whether there are relevant documents at his archives. Pecorari needs the exact time when his congregation accepted Aylward's institute since he could not find anything in their various series at a glance.
