Description
Holograph letter from Bishop J. Dignan, St. Brendan’s Coorheen, Loughrea (County Galway), to Hagan, in gratitude for their kindness when he was in Rome. Enquiring about the payment of Mr. Keane's pension; he assumed it would be made from money given by Dr. Fair. The latter will start work soon; it is obvious however that his heart is in Rome. Then observing that the Morning Post's news on the Boundary is generally taken to be more than a guess, but that the prevalent expressions of indignation will be little more than hot air 'no matter how much of the 26 is added to the 6 counties'. Enclosing a cheque for expenses.
