Description
Typescript letter signed R. O'Breandáin, The Irish News Syndicate, 48 Cherryfield Avenue, Dublin, to Hagan, stating he sent letters of introduction to the Catholic Press in the colonies quoting Hagan for reference. Observing that the 'bursting of the Boundary Bubble' caused a bad mix-up; the Free State looks it can need all the sympathy it can get. At the ardfheis a split looked inevitable for a time 'but Dev.(alera) saved the situation in a masterly manner, and there are certainly signs of a revival of the old spirit'. Dr. Mannix set many thinking on new lines.
