Holograph letter from Gaudenzio Bisetti, Rector of the Episcopal Seminary, Bobbio, to Hagan and Curran. The Bishop of Raphoe brought their greetings; reminiscing about their centenary celebrations: 'I will not forget them even if I lived 1,000 years like the patriarchs of the Old Testament'. Entreating Cardinal O'Donnell to come to Bobbio to celebrate Mass on his return to Ireland: 'the bones of St. Columbanus would be heard rejoicing from the bottom of the tomb'. Season's greetings; he has just been made domestic prelate.
