Description
Holograph letter from M.J. Curran, Rome, to Mr. Twomey [...], with further news on Matthew's illness. A hemorrhage occurred and they administered extreme unction and the viaticum, but he is overall recovering very well, and is in good spirits. Handwritten remark 'this is the worst one we got. May'.
