Description
Holograph letter from J. Lennon, Mountmellick (County Laois), to Hagan, with season's greetings. Appreciating the hard work of the last year. Expressing delight over Dr. O'Donnell's election to the cardinalship; he has always been a thorough gentleman, and the priest above all. Hoping Dr. Mannix's own elevation will come soon- the Archbishop of Dublin was proud of the recent (reception) in Dublin. All friends are well and '"well satisfied with the Boundary"'; he will give a speech at their imminent meeting.
