Hoping with the Pope that more Irish students will be sent to Rome in the future. Offering a donation of £100 for the new building- 'I shall be most happy to have it devoted to the furnishing of the billiard Rooms as you desire, or to any other object tending to the wellbeing and comfort of the College.' Asking for relics of St. Philemena.
