Draft Letter from Hagan to Monsignor [...]
Pontifical Irish College
Hagan, John, 1873-1930
Handwritten draft letter [or two letters] from (Hagan) to Monsignor [...]. Firstly, explaining that he cannot deal with requests for tickets to the papal audiences anymore; asking to inform the shops that too often people obtained these by approaching the Christian Brothers so that in cases the tickets he applied for were denied. Also submit- ting a complaint that some sections of pilgrimages, or individuals, have been abusing the assistance given freely by the College, for instance by indulging in 'unreasonable criticism' in order to show their independence.
