Description
Holograph letter from J. Kearney, Garvagh, County Derry, to Hagan, on the O'Kane bequest. The bishop gave his consent to petition the Holy See for commutation of the bequest; he can obtain a doctor's statement as to the patient's mental state. Enclosing relevant cutting from the press (not extant); it is not only the relatives but also the Catholic lawyers that need to be watched.
