Description
Holograph letter from P.J. Roughneen, The Presbytery, Ballaghadereen (County Mayo), to Hagan, enclosing document from [Dan] Furey; wondering whether it concerns merely a once-off contribution to ex-members of Propaganda (document not extant). Recounting a meeting with the archbishop who looks very well. The government is 'still window-dressing with new coinage', commenting that King George's profile is still commercially a safer proposition. Things are very quiet, and business dull.
