dc.description | Holograph letter from K.[eohane] of M.H. Gill & Son Ltd, Dublin, to Hagan. Explaining he had to postpone publication of 'Wine' ['Wine from the royal Pope'] until next month. Anticipating 'the burst' to come certainly, but not even the principals know where they are. He has not heard about the mill. The 'Brewer' [Fr. Morrissey] acted as 'Lord High Pacificator' last Sunday, using all his diplomacy and avoiding strife- 'as it was all the big guns were spiked'. Adding that he would not give a free read to the 'O.P.s' [Dominicans]; offering to explain. | |
