Description
Holograph letter from Cardinal Patrick O'Donnell, Ara Coelis, Armagh, to Hagan. Stating that the bishops have whole-heartedly approved of the line taken with regard to the new building- 'it was a good deal to ask and I felt very grateful'. Glad Hagan will soon come to Ireland. He himself hopes to attend the Eucharistic Congress. Asking for a report on accounts also regarding S. Maria della Pace. Asking for gifts for bazaars, and intending to arrange the Portiuncula Indulgence permanently for the archdiocese. He told Fr. [Hubert O.S.F.] what he thought was best regarding St. Isidore's; 'I need not say how I feel about the business'. Adding that Fr. Paul Walsh works on his brief.
