Letter from Archbishop T.P. Gilmartin to Hagan
Pontifical Irish College
Hagan, John, 1873-1930
Holograph letter from Archbishop T.P. Gilmartin, St. Jarlath's, Tuam (County Galway), to (Hagan), enclosing documents requested (not extant). His suggestions are most reasonable; the Brothers work on Armagh and Dublin against any change; a document was circulated before being approved by the congregation. 'C's' [...] is to be kept secret; he is of Gilmartin's kind. Observing that politics are dead at present; the point of criticism is the expenditure [of the state].
