Description
Holograph letter from John Sheahan, 32 Thomas Street, Limerick, to Hagan. Enclosing his piece for the Limerick Leader (not extant) in which he discusses the Limerick Brigade that fought for Pius IX, as based on the recollections of his own father, a member of the brigade. Asking him to bring this to the attention of the Pope's secretary and asking for a photo of Pius IX.
