Description
Holograph letter from James MacCaffrey, St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth (County Kildare), to (Hagan). Advising him that the most worthy candidate for the course at the Biblical Institute would be Martin Brennan, to be ordained next Sunday. It only depends on his bishop whether he will come to Rome. They may also send John O'Doherty for a higher course of theology. Then asking for a reference for Fr. James Bastible, Cork, who applied for their vacant chair of Theology.
