Description
Holograph letter from [Bishop M.] O'Farrell, Dunshaughlin, County Meath, to (Hagan), asking to obtain an indult for wearing the Gothic vestments he just purchased, unaware of the congregational edict. Then discussing at length the case of a Presentation nun in Mountmellick, wishing to go to Australia to join the Sisters of Mercy; she could travel with O'Farrell. Asking Hagan for advice; he may be able to get a dispensation from her vows.
