Description
Holograph letter from Sr.(Mary) Zeno, Convent of St. John of God, Kilmore, County Wexford, to (Hagan). With an account of her holiday in Ballybunion with 'the Canon' [...]; there were as many Masses as in Rome since this is a favourite resort for priests. Describing her further journeys by motor to Kilgarvan, Waterford, Mullinavat, Mooncoin – regards from mutual friends, and comments on his aunt [Sister Paulinus] – 'you seem to be the idol of her life'. They talked at length to Bishop Hackett. Thanking Hagan for the trouble he takes over Thomastown. A surprising letter from the Office of National Education, Dublin, reached her (enclosing holograph letter): Hagan's friend J. Fenton invites her to stay with him when in Dublin.
