Description
Holograph letter from Mother (Mary) Kevin, The Convent, Nsambya, Kampala, Uganda (British East Africa), to (her cousin Hagan). News of convent work; they are teaching 46 native sisters but seeking [non-native] postulants; enclosing an article (not extant). Sending photographs separately. There is much expense on medical staff salaries; seeking help for funding the £10,000-project of the new convent and schools to house 200. Having to keep up with the Protestants in the area of education. When she was at home, she saw Stasia by whom she sets great store.
