Description
Holograph letter from Timothy J. Shanley, Dromod, County Leitrim, to Hagan in thanks for his kindness when they were in Rome. Explaining he was ill and could not see Fr. Magennis. Asking to forward letters that may have arrived. DeV(alera) whom he met many times is very well and hopeful, while the people 'all over are very much disgusted with the high taxes and salaries'. Inviting him to America.
