Holograph letter from Bishop E. Mulhern, Ardmaine, Newry (County Down), to (Hagan), in thanks for the relic and the well-made old reliquary. Sending a cheque for Smyth, commiserating with the 'poor young fellow'. Hoping [Curran] will be able to gather a decent sum. Regretting that a student meant for Rome is now getting a free place in Salamanca.
