Description
Holograph letter from P.T.K.(eohane), Wadena, Sutton, County Dublin, to Hagan, regretting Fr. Lennon headed off alone this time. Stating satisfaction over Seán T.'s return since 'he is the only one of the bunch with DeV.in whom I have any confidence'; praising his tact and judgement. Expressing indignance over Sceilg's outburst in the Gaelic American: 'I feel for him intensely, but he is desperately pig-headed and stupid'. Then stating puzzlement concerning the returned coadjutor of Sydney and his intentions- 'Blackrock' [Canon Waters] was very unhappy with his contribution to the (Catholic Bulletin). Then expressing gratitude for Hagan's help to Fr. Augustine; asking him to over- look the past black deeds of the O.S.F.Cs [Irish Capuchins] and recommending Frs. Aloysius and Canice, members of the pilgrimage coming to Rome. Promising particular personal news soon.
