Description
Holograph letter from Ernie (O'Malley), Medical School, Cecilia Street, Dublin, to Hagan. He has resumed his medical studies at 'second lectures'. Asking about Irish acquaintances in Rome including the 'General' (Fr. Magennis). Listing others now in Paris, namely Seán (T. Ó Ceallaigh) and wife, and in Rome. Briefly commenting that [Con] Little, now near Paris, is a confirmed optimist, his operation having gone well. Then remarking that elections are not fixed, but that they must be pending seeing that the 'Staters begin to seriously consider the position of the poor with regard to fuel'. He will write again when he has a fountain pen; expressing deep gratitude.
