Holograph letter from Bishop William Codd, Summerhill, Wexford, to Hagan, enclosing handwritten petition for a marriage dispensation for William Lawlor and Josephine M. Bolger, sister-in-law to the widowed Lawlor. Detailing reasons in favour of the match. – Stating that Cardinal Laurenti has not replied yet; commenting on Fr. Goolden's stay at Mount St. Benedict. Codd cannot understand how the cardinal could be administrationally so obstructive.
