Holograph letter from Bishop B. O'Kane, Bishop's House, Derry, to (Hagan), settling outstanding diocesan debts in fees. Fr. Hegarty is now installed in Maghera and made vicar general. Enclosing the oaths he took before the cardinal, as required by one of the congregations. Seeking advice on how to honour Fr. Philip O'Doherty, Omagh, with a minor title that needs no recourse to Rome; offering information on his career and achievements.
