Handwritten excerpt by (O'Riordan) of a letter from the Bishop of Down and Connor to [O'Riordan]. Describing how he and the lord mayor of Dublin succeeded in settling the matter of the Sinn feiners' prison revolt; the chief secretary promises that the prisoner just seized was to be treated as a political prisoner. 'The spirit of those young Sinn feiners is indomitable even beyond imagination. They are absolutely fearless'.
