Handwritten personal account by [...] for [Hagan], framed as two moral tales against the effects of drink. Reminding him of Tivoli twenty years ago, and their shared ordination in St. John's: 'there is the picture- one of us full of years and honours- the other a miserable outcast coming to beg shelter at our (sic) door. And all because of drink.' (Covering letter not extant.) (Item torn in two but complete.)
