dc.description | Holograph letter from Archbishop T.P. Gilmartin, St. Jarlath's, Tuam (County Galway), to (Hagan). He has seen the Benedictines who made the visitation at Kylemore and whose report will take a while; at present 'the good dames' are looked after by the local clergy, and Fr. Marten cannot return until Rome gives permission. Settling accounts. Enclosing newspaper cutting (not extant). The country is quiet, but the extreme republicans seem to be organising; comment on a recent shooting. | |
