Description

Holograph letter from Bishop M. O'Brien, The Palace, Killarney (County Kerry), to Hagan. Enclosing a document from the Datary; the payment for the outdated Bull cannot be avoided obviously; enclosing also cheque for the purpose. Explaining the initial mistake made by the Consistorial Congregation, and its aggravation by the 'jus patronatus' the Kenmares had in Killarney parish; for this he is made to pay for a bull appointing him to Killarney parish.
