Holograph letter from Bishop E. Mulhern, Ardmaine, Newry (County Down), to (Hagan). Enclosing urgent petition concerning a group of young men leaving for Africa (not extant). He just returned from Harrogate. He has not heard of tender sent from Rome about the work [in Warrenpoint]. They have not discussed 'episcopabiles' yet. Stating that [A...] and Down are still alive to their old ways, that Meath is in the throes, but forecasting all will work out well.
