Handwritten copy letter from Bishop P. Morrisroe, St. Nathy's, Ballaghadereen, County Mayo, to Brother Edward [Gildea]. Glad that he is seeking liberty to begin studies for the priesthood, alluding to the religious traditions in his family. Promising to nominate him for the Irish College Rome as soon as he can enter studies. (For the covering letter from Gildea see 18 August.)
