Description

Holograph letter from T.H.E.(llis), Ballyglunin (County Galway), to (Hagan). Enclosing handwritten copy health certificate from Michael Davitt M.D. Galway, as an example of the certificates he has been sending to his bishop, without eliciting a response. Details on his poor appetite; the administration of the house does not want to lose him and his pension. Asking advice on the steps to take; he does not blame the bishop at all; proposing to go to Innsbrück even without the bishop's financial allowance. [22 September – 4 October 1927]
