Series 9, Province Documentation and Printed Works, contains a variety of materials documenting the Province itself. This includes biographies and obituaries of deceased Jesuits (mostly members of the Province); catalogs and directories listing Houses, novices and members at various stages of formation, books and authors, and mission activity; microfilm copies of manuscript materials (primarily in the Maryland Province Archives); photographs, primarily of groups of Jesuits; and publications and newsclippings (such as Jesuit newsletters, anniversary publications, and some materials related to the Jesuits at Georgetown).

NOTE: Most materials dated 1900 and later have not been digitized. Materials dating 1900-1939 are available for research use at the Booth Family Center for Special Collections. All materials dated 1940 and later are restricted.
