Description
This folder consists of documents (1821-1836) pertaining to the Mattingly Miracle as well as other miracles. There are several items pertaining to the miracles performed by Prince Hohenlohe. Items of interest include: Notizia Ecclesiastica (Guarigione prodigiosa di di Maria Ogheri);Cures Miraculeuses Obtenues par les Prieres du Prince Abbe de Hohelohe en 1821 et 1822; L'Ami de la Religion et Du Roi, published in the Journal Ecclesiastique, Politique et Litteraire [Tome 41 (1824)]; An Examination of a Protestant's Objections to the Popish Miracle Lately Wrought in America (May, 1824); extract from The Preston Chronicle concerning entitled Modern Miracles (Oct. 12, 1822); Prayers Recited by Mrs. Ann Mattingly Before and After the Cure of Her Foot... (Jan. 1831).
