This report was written by a University of Pittsburgh panel established to investigate the role of its professor Gerald P. Schatten, Ph.D., Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences and Director, Pittsburgh Development Center, in the collaboration with Korean scientist Woo-Suk Hwang, who falsified data concerning derivation of stem cells from cloned human embryos.
