"Don't see it -- Big thing, big thing"
Illustrated Civil War envelopes with patriotic symbols, slogans and cartoons, mostly Northern, including a few Southern ones.
Two dogs, the larger of the two is a representation of Winfield Scott, discussing a piece of meat; which is representing Washington D.C. Appears to be a comment on the insignificance of the defense of the nation's capital in Scott's Anaconda strategy.
