Georgetown College (1789-1815)
Two years before his graduation from Georgetown University's Law School in 1938, Joseph Montoya was elected to the New Mexico House of Representatives. At the age of 21, he was the youngest lawmaker in state history. Montoya went on to represent New Mexico in the U.S. Senate and was a member of the Select Committee on Presidential Campaign Activities, the first legislative group to investigate Watergate.
