JOURNALS AND NEWSLETTERS IN BIOETHICS, ETHICS AND MEDICINE, OR ETHICS AND SCIENCE, Sorted by Type and Date, 1998
Staff of the National Reference Center for Bioethics Literature
Notes: In type category, J = journal, N = newsletter; second letter denotes primary emphasis of the periodical: B = bioethics, H = health, L = law, S = science. Two contemporary, productive journals for bioethics were established prior to the emergence of bioethics as a field: Linacre Quarterly (1934) and Arzt und Christ (now Zeitschrift fuer Medizinische Ethik (1955). To be included in this list periodicals must be highly productive for bioethics content and still be in print.
This list was created in 1998 to indicate what journals and newsletters the National Reference Center of Bioethics Literature monitored and subscribed to. This document is placed here as a historical resource and may contain information that is no longer accurate.
