In this section we will be looking at what makes up a country's overall trade balance. We will understand how trade surpluses, deficits, and unfair trade practices may affect this balance. In addition, we will look at government-initiated industrial policy and Japan and China. We will be grappling with the ever-present question of:Is China really becoming an economic superpower?
