Georgetown University Radio Forum #1355: Turn Your Radio On, 1972 Tape 1
The final broadcast of the Georgetown University Radio Forum. The program recounts the history of radio from the development of technology to programming and advertising. The program aslo explores how radio adapated with the advent and rise of television and what the future has in store for radio. Commentary is provided by John Schneider, Director of News for WTOP, Tom Bell, Program Director for WEAM, and Brian Lamb, Assistant to the Director of Telecommunications Policy for the White House. The narrator closes with "Thank you and goodbye."
