Moderator Wallace Fanning introduces participants Thomas C. Fischer, Assistant Dean at the Georgetown University Law Center, and Donald Schwartz, Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center, who debate the topic of due process on campus and the changing nature of student participation in the rule making and disciplinary process. References are made to the incident in March 1969 in which students disrupted an appearance by San Francisco Mayor Joseph Alioto in Gaston Hall.
