Arrupe addresses around 200 area Jesuits, discussing the role of the Jesuit Order and preparations for the second session of the General Congregation to be held in Rome in summer 1966. Recording ends with the presentation of a commemorative medal by Georgetown President Gerard J. Campbell, S.J. Fr. Arrupe's visit was the first to the U.S. by a superior of the Jesuit Order.
