Fourth in a series of meetings sponsored by the Latin American Studies Program, the Lecture Series Fund, and the Cuban Students Association. Speaker Dr. Luis Aguilar, Associate Professor of History in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, spoke on the topic of "Cuba, 1973, Prelude to Revolution". Aguilar explores the history of Cuba from colonials times to Fidel Castro's Revolution by explaining his theory that the history of Cuba is really a conflict of an exaggerated dream and a bitter reality and that Castro was a symbol of the best and worst of Cuba.
